What counts as a rack?

A rack you have registered in the hierarchy and are collecting from. Unracked equipment is billed as one rack per 20 devices. Nothing is billed twice.

Are metrics or actions metered?

No. Instrumenting more of your estate should lower your bill, not raise ours. Ingest volume, action count and retention are not metered.

What happens after the 90-day pilot?

You keep the savings report and the historical data. If you do not convert, the tenant is exported on request and then deleted — there is no hostage-taking of your own measurements.

Do you charge for the on-prem option?

On-prem is part of Enterprise. The platform already runs as containers against your own Postgres and Mongo, so there is no separate product to license.
