The platform
Six tightly-coupled modules turn a stream of telemetry into prevented failures and lower bills. Nothing here is a dashboard that waits for you to notice something.
A lightweight agent reads CPU, RAM, disk, network and power — via IPMI, Intel RAPL, or a calibrated estimate — and streams it every 30 seconds. Equipment collectors speak SNMP, Modbus and BACnet to the boxes an agent cannot run on.
Thermal excursions, zombie processes, idle overconsumption and power spikes are flagged synchronously on every ingest, against a baseline learned per host rather than a global threshold.
A 60-minute-ahead trend forecast with a confidence band, so capacity is staged before the peak lands instead of after the alert.
Per-component ETA for thermal and memory drift, with isolation-forest outlier detection fitted per server — not a fleet-wide model that flags your busiest host every night.
Setpoint, idle-suspend and throttle changes pass rate-limit, single-active-per-target, time-of-day and guardrail checks, snapshot state, then apply — fully reversible for seven days.
When a problem needs hands — a battery swap, a fan inspection, a filter refill — Preditoring writes a field-tech work order, idempotently, with the evidence attached.
01 / The measurement chain
Where an instrument exists, Preditoring reads it. The estimate is a fallback, and every figure in the product tells you which of the two you are looking at.
IPMI, Intel RAPL, smart PDU outlet, Modbus, BACnet, SNMP.
Reads true draw every 30 s; falls back to a calibrated estimate.
Anomaly checks and forecasts run on the same request.
The policy engine approves, blocks, or routes to a human.
Snapshot, apply, and keep the rollback for seven days.
02 / Coverage
Driver-based collectors speak to the equipment you already own. No hardware to buy, and mock drivers run a full demo before you commit anything.
Linux and Windows agents. IPMI and Intel RAPL where available, calibrated CPU-load estimate where not.
APC, Raritan and any SNMP-speaking unit. Per-outlet watts override estimated server power wherever a smart outlet exists.
Modbus and BACnet drivers for cooling units, chillers and standby generators, with setpoint write-back behind the policy engine.
Point an agent at one rack and watch the savings model populate in minutes. No procurement cycle required to find out whether this works for you.
